
Mehmet Develioğlu was born in 1959 and is registered in the population records of Develi district, Kayseri province.
He completed his education at the Faculty of Business Administration at Marmara University.
He is a partner in his family-owned company, Burak Ambalaj Group Companies, which operates in the paper, packaging, printing, and import-export sectors.
In previous terms, Mehmet Develioğlu served as Vice Chairman of the Assembly and Member of the Board of Directors at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO). In the 21st term, he continues to serve as Vice President of the ITO Board of Directors.
He is currently a member of the General Assembly of TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye) and continues his duties as a member of the ITO Professional Committees and the Assembly. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Foundation for Education and Social Services.
Having taken part in many non-governmental organizations (NGOs), voluntary institutions, and sectoral associations, Develioğlu has also served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of İSOMDER (Istanbul Corrugated Board Manufacturers Association).
Placing special importance on civil society activities, Develioğlu has held several roles at UTESAV (Foundation for International Technological, Economic and Social Research), including trustee, board member, vice president, and president at various times. He currently continues as a member of the UTESAV Board of Directors.
Having served in various roles within MÜSİAD (Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association) — including board member, vice president, and member of the High Advisory Board — Develioğlu was appointed Vice President following the 26th Ordinary General Assembly of MÜSİAD. He currently serves as the Chairman of the MÜSİAD Disciplinary Board.
With over 40 years of active experience in the paper, packaging, and printing sectors, Mehmet Develioğlu is married and a father of two children.
